Virginia trained in central London and qualified as a solicitor in 1980. In 1991 she set up the private practice of Harrops with her husband, Peter, in Oxted. After the merger of Harrops Solicitors and Hepburns Solicitors in 2011, Virginia has acted as Director in the current firm of Harrops & Hepburn while maintaining her varied and loyal client base.
Virginia has particular experience in relation to drafting Wills, dealing with related trust matters, handling the administration of estates of any size, putting together Powers of Attorney, dealing with Advance Directives and assisting families with deputyship applications.
Peter trained in London and qualified as a solicitor in 1977. He worked in London, mainly as a litigator, until 1991 when he set up the private practice of Harrops with his wife, Virginia, in Oxted. After the merger of Harrops Solicitors and Hepburns Solicitors in 2011, Peter has acted as Director in the current firm of Harrops & Hepburn while maintaining his large and varied client list.
Peter has a breadth of experience in litigation and property matters and now specialises in high-end residential conveyancing and development work. His current work has a particular emphasis on flat developments in London and commercial freehold and leasehold conveyancing.
Karl finished his legal studies at London Metropolitan University before he completed his training contract with a medium sized Kent-based firm. He qualified as a solicitor in 2005.
Karl deals with both residential and commercial property transactions and has particularly extensive experience in residential transactions. Karl has a varied experience in advising clients on all related property matters.
Amanda is a Chartered Legal Executive with more than 21 years general legal experience including 16 years extensive experience in all aspects of property law gained in Central London.
Amanda deals with both commercial business transactions, and residential property transactions, to include sales, purchases and leasing arrangements.
Amanda also works closely with Peter Harrop.
Vanessa trained with Maples & Calder in the Cayman Islands and an Essex Firm and qualified as a solicitor in 2000. She then did private client work for a large Oxford firm and later became a partner at a medium sized Bedford and Northamptonshire practice. She relocated to Ghana in 2009 and worked as a corporate lawyer for Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa & Ankomah and set up a private law firm before returning to the UK to join Harrops & Hepburn in 2015. She has over ten years private client experience in all aspects of Will drafting, estate and trust administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications. She understands the importance of putting clients at ease and offers structured and straightforward advice at what is often a difficult time for clients.
